about
A song based on the poem, "The Sorcerer" by Aleister Crowley
lyrics
A Sorcerer by the power of her magick had subdued all things.
Would she travel? She could fly through space more swiftly than the stars.
Would she eat, drink, and take her pleasure? There was none that would not instantly obey her bidding.
In the whole system of ten million times ten million spheres upon the two and twenty million planes she had her desire.
And with all this she was but herself.
Alas!
I once wrote that England was chasing the tail of the America's and Europe in producing quality underground rock, I was wrong and this the second HUGE collection of diverse and delightful English grooviness from Doomed & Stoned proves it! Talk about rubbing salt in a wound. FDJ (Desert Psychlist)
Bought End of Days, Primigenian, Planet Terror, Red Chariot and Orbiter in one hit, amazing music, great to have found the band, nice replacement for my Hawkwind, love all the albums debbieseven7
As has (rightfully) already been said elsewhere, this band and album are "absolute fire."
Despite the doom-gloom cover art, this type of rock music is a positive force. Especially without vocals, which for me is a bonus. Dale Lloyd
